Finally the long awaited haul from drugstore.com / beauty.com ! This is a major website whereby these two sites are linked into one bag ( shopping cart ) . Drugstore.com sells drugstore-brand products while beauty.com sells high-end brand products. Since this website doesn't ship to Singapore, my friend and I used Vpost to ship it here.
Frankly speaking, I'm a late bloomer in the makeup world . And, I just discovered that buying from this site saves me from wasting alot of money because.. the prices for the same products sold in Singapore is way cheaper on these sites! Furthermore, there are more varieties! Who doesn't go crazy over way cheaper prices and the varieties they offer??
Alright , let's break the above picture down and micro it to the individual products with prices, swatches and first impression reviews :
1) NARS oil-free Pro Prime Pore Refining Primer

I was researching for a primer which really suited my skin type ( Combination) and the Singapore weather ( Hot, High level of humidity) . My current primer, Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer in 001, did not help me much with the oilyness in my T-Zone after several hours. The Revlon Primer didn't suit me. It may suit those with dry skin though. So I came across NARS. well , the description of this primer makes me want to purchase this product as it is perfect for my skin type as stated , although I have my reservations.
It states on the packaging and booklet :
' This oil-free primer instantly refines the look of pores,regulates shine and mattifies the skin to create an immaculate canvas.
Mineral powders manage oil in the T-zone and other shine prone areas while blurring the look of pores, fine lines, wrinkles, setting the stage for a velvety-matte, make-up ready finish.

So, I tested this product on my skin to believe it. First Impression : WOW. the texture is water-like and effortlessly blends and absorbs onto my skin! After it has blended onto my skin, the result is smooth-velvety and I love the feel of it. hehs. I will do a full-test on this product with my make-up on and I'll follow up on this product on a seperate post soon!
2) Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden

I just had to get a good basic eyeshadow primer. And this is one of the eye base products which are most raved about. I took the colour Eden because I like the nude matte colour and it will help in evening out of the skin tone. First Impression : Expected. It's on par and I love it but then again, I will still test it out on whether it helps in the' no creasing' of my eyeshadows . But I have confidence in this product and I really hope this will be my best eye-primer friend :)
3) Revlon Colourstay Foundation ( combi/oily)

There were only selected shades in Singapore and sadly, my shade isn't available in Singapore. This shade is Buff 150 . love the texture and hopefully it really controls the oilyness and shine in the T-Zone area.
4) Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter
Price : US$7.49 per tube
I'm in love with this lip butters. moisturising with colour pigments in it. My current one , Peach Parfait 025 is finishing and yes I will repurchase it! I bought two colours , Cherry Tart 025 (right picture) and Raspberry Pie 010 (left picture). I will definitely buy more colours from this range and will have a collection of it!
5) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss

I'm in need of some glosses because I realised most of my lip products are lipsticks! I got two of these. Coral Reef 170 ( left picture) and Shine City 010 ( Right picture). Coral Reef 170 is more of a peachy-orangey colour but i love it. Shine City 010 will be great for natural shiny lips or as a topcoat over lipsticks.
6) Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain
Price : US$ 8.99 per tube
Decided to try this product.Nice colour. There is a minty sensation and scent. When i tried on my lips, colour was a hot pink. And the colour won't fade from my lips. Moisturising.
7) Revlon Colourburst Lipgloss
Price : US$7.49 Per Tube
This colour is in Hot Pink 010. And it has some shimmer in it. Not chunky glitter. Nice Colour and will try it out soon :)
8) Revlon Colourstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick
Price : US$ 10.99 Per Tube
This colour is in Brilliant Bordeaux 040. A very deep red. love the texture and the colour. great for night outs or special occasions. Nice colour for the fall/winter season.
9) Revlon Photoready Cream Blush
Price : US$ 12.99
I came across this item and decided to have a try on this. Nice peachy colour. The colour is Pinched 100 . Nothing much to say about it because I haven't really tried it out yet. Will review on it more if I find this product worthwhile. But for a drugstore product, i think it's a little pricey.
10) Revlon Brow Fantasy
Price : US$ 7.39
I got this colour in Dark Brown. Well I love this product because it has both a brow pencil and gel in one. The gel is in a same colour as the pencil. Pencil to draw your brows and gel to keep your brows in place. Been using it for 1 week now and no complaints about it! Easy to use as well.
11) Wet n Wild Colouricon Trios
Price : US$ 2.99 Per Palette
These are the most talked about eyeshadow palettes from the drugstore category . Very affordable, great colour payoff, velvety and just wow. For the price I paid, it's a great deal. Got two sets from this range, 384B On Cloud Nine ( right picture) and 335 Silent Treatment ( left picture). but was very disappointed that the shipment handling was very rough as one of my palettes cracked badly :( as you can see in the picture. but it's okay. still super excited to try these out!
12) Wet n Wild Colour Icon Eyeshadow Collection
Price: US$ 4.99
Similar to the comments above. This one is the 8 colour palette. For all the palettes from Wet n Wild, I like how they labelled the colours to be used for which part of the eye. Although you don't really need to follow them. But it's great for beginners. I got this palette in the set 738 Comfort Zone. Neutral shades and again, can't wait to try this! Will be purchasing more sets from this brand!
13) L'Oreal Double Extend Lash Boosting Serum + Mascara
Price : US$ 7.66
I was attracted to this mascara because of the benefits they promote on the packaging and I wanted to experience for myself whether what they claim is true. I got this mascara in the shade of Blackest Black 595 . The white end which is Step 1 is a primer and it is said to improve lash health as it is serum infused with pro-keratine complex of fortifying amino acids, Panthenol and Ceramide to boost natural lashes. Step 2 is a ultra-lengthening mascara topcoat. Yea will try this out soon and see for myself if there are really results. States also that is suitable for senstive and contact lense wearers.
14) Prestige Eyeliner Pencil

I'm impressed by this eyeliner. Super pigmented, creamy and easy glide on! One swatch and you'll get the colour there! I wish they had a nude colour . Excited about using this product! Colour i bought is E-30 White.
15) Rimmel Natural Bronzer
Price : US$ 5.49
I have been wanting to find a bronzer which is not shimmey and I'm a beginner at using bronzer so I wanted to find a drugstore kind to play around with first. I got this Rimmel brand bronzer in the shade 022 Sun bronze. It's a matte bronzer 'with very very little-to no' shimmer. Unlike the Elf Warm bronzer which is a shimmery type. Like the colour swatched onto my skin and will again will use this soon :)
Overall, I'm quite pleased with the products I bought and will use them and give updated reviews if it's worth it. In total I spent SGD$223 including shipping and handling fees. With the quantity of items I bought, it's a good price to pay. So that's it for now and it's a real lengthy post. Hope my reviews are of good information to you girls and stay tuned for my next post!
